Download & Extract

Click the download button above, then unzip the file to a folder on your computer (Desktop or Documents works well).

Tip: Remember where you save it – you'll need to select this folder in step 3.

Open Chrome Extensions

  1. Type chrome://extensions in your address bar and press Enter
  2. Or: Click ⋮ menu → Extensions → Manage Extensions

Enable Developer Mode

Find the "Developer mode" toggle in the top right corner and turn it ON.

Required: Developer mode must be enabled to install extensions from files.

Load the Extension

  1. Click "Load unpacked" button (appears after enabling dev mode)
  2. Navigate to where you unzipped the extension
  3. Select the folder containing manifest.json
  4. Click "Select Folder"

Start Using

  1. Go to Google Maps Street View
  2. Click the extension icon in your toolbar
  3. The side panel opens with capture controls
  4. Navigate Street View and capture site data
Tip: Pin the extension by clicking the puzzle piece icon (🧩) then the pin next to "Traffic Management Assistant".

Start Using

  1. Go to Google Maps Street View
  2. Click the extension icon in your toolbar
  3. The side panel opens with capture controls
  4. Navigate Street View and capture site data
